As you know, we are facing a challenging public health situation and today, we wanted to let you know how we are responding to the COVID-19 pandemic as we remain committed to our charity and the golf tournament fundraising efforts.
After careful consideration the Pink Ribbon Ladies Golf Classic for Hope Committee have elected to pause plans for the June 8th Manitoba Liquor & Lotteries Pink Ribbon Ladies Golf Classic for Hope tournament. We have established a rescheduled tournament date of Monday, September 14, 2020 to be held at Bridges Golf Course. Please mark your calendars!
We are optimistic that there will be an improvement in the pandemic situation with a clearer understanding of social distancing and public gatherings within the next few months. We are sensitive to the more important issues facing us all and we are working closely with our partners to adjust to our new date and offer more realistic timeframes to continue to deliver on the fundraising efforts derived from this premiere event.
Now more than ever, the funds raised from our tournament are needed for the programs offered by CancerCare Manitoba’s Breast & Gyne Cancer Centre of Hope.
We recognize that efforts to mitigate the rapid spread of COVID-19 may have disrupted your life and are unsettling at this time. We also recognize that many of you are experiencing unsettling organizational challenges.
We are carefully keeping you in mind as we think through the uncertainties. I encourage you to check our website at www.pinkribbonladiesgolfclassic.com for updates over the next few months. We will also reach out to our network of Sponsors, Golfers and Volunteers on a regular basis.
